have you ever written a letter to a miracle like a boat in the air or a breath underwater slow words rapid thoughts i noticed it amidst looking to the ground of unsure steps and helpless prayer that little miracle with tiny feet travels at the speed of sound into a mystery bound by joyful noises i cannot hear in my letter i tried to say how we drown between the days and nights so swiftly missing out of sight the tiny sticks it offers me to pull me out of misery’s engulfing heart or have you written a post card saying wishing the miracle was here but it pauses for a second looking across the mystical space where it’s tiny face holds the secret

You make prose poetry look easy with this gorgeously crafted poem. I loved reading it many times and getting different takes.
