it’s a dirty trick the world is round and the road will take me nowhere go far away they say as they laugh in my face knowing that i will spiral on forever did You make it so that i couldn’t climb up to heaven certainly in my dream i can fly anywhere it is when my eyes are open that the gutter stinks my red nose upon it the bottles are brown and plenty the snakes jitterbug sitting on the throne of bygones but only in classification how can anything You created be bad free will maybe You shouldn’t love us so it will cost 100 trillion to be green and where will my seed grow thus we pluck each other’s eyes out i don’t want to think anymore or see anymore the beauty is of strange moon beams cats fiddles drug induced riddles Darwin you fucked up revolution on all that was gained the righteous claim their stain on the goodness of the worker
Free will is a gift though we may make bad choices. How else are we to learn. If you think about it, where ever we walk on this round world, we are walking downhill. Of course, that’s if you don’t pay attention to the uneven surface!?!

2 quotes on ‘Free will’
“As far as I can see, it’s not important that we have free will, just as long as we have the illusion of free will to stop us going mad.” ~Alan Moore
“Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt is determinism; the way you play it is free will.” ~ Jawaharlal Nehru
Incredible writing and always honest. Hope you enjoy the quotes and hope it makes sense.

Awesome! I’m glad you liked the quotes. In your writing your referenced ‘free will’ and the rest of the prose poem just stuck with me and made sense of the idea of ‘free will’ itself.
I’m back and feeling happy to be at my second home with my good intellectual friends. 🙂

Wow! Those were profound thoughts Marisela. Can you put into prose “Darwin you fucked up revolution”……did you mean that old adage ‘evolution not revolution’ is not working….. there needs to be more change…..we are not going at things fast enough. Stop making my head hurt.
