this haiku is not
about pretty flowers or
skies of blue and love
this second one is
to notify you that i
don’t write tenderly
hate me or like me
this is who i am just know
that you’re in my heart
this haiku is not
about pretty flowers or
skies of blue and love
this second one is
to notify you that i
don’t write tenderly
hate me or like me
this is who i am just know
that you’re in my heart
place my cheek upon
your palms and draw me into
your love one last time

my eyes reflect time
my body hides the holy
secrets not known yet
civilizations
rise and fall below my feet
i am anointed
by the sky goddess
her crown she relinquishes
to me the new One

tickle me with your
lips supple with lies but sweet
tongue waves through my soul
kiss shining like ice
across my throat you stroke me
nibble at my breast
lick at my deep thoughts
groan together at the moon
anticipation
mounts about our face
devastation came too soon
loneliness smiles wide
fresh green jewel eyes
tiptoeing through the garden
watch your children grow
babes cling to your breast
nourishing their tender souls
stretch out their tendrils
the dawn crawls to you
threatening beast that cuts you down
your seed have scattered

electricity
from the great heavens lights up
forming a new world
an opened can of
corn and ash filled cups behind
your bible bookcase
i didn’t notice
dusk approaching silently
baby blue surfboard
against your bedroom
doors my hand reaches to them
Darwin winks at me
encircling my legs
your absence claws both our hearts
he feeds on salmon
the path of cigar
ashes etched like hieroglyphs
leads to your studio
Old Glory salutes
me she hangs on solemnly
a noble widow
kneeling in front of
the jar holding your medals
Darwin smiles at me
touch only if you want
to feel life everlasting
my lips keep secrets
divine life circuits
through my very soul fabric
i am womanhood
forever wisdom
standing at the head of all
silent in love strong

Pershing Square wakes up
fading light but nothing new
i look down again
